“The extraordinary from an ordinary tin-roof cottage”- PINGAO's hot melt packaging machine procured designated by globe manufactures.

In the 1990s, there was an ordinary tin-roof cottage lonely located in a large green rice fields in a rural city Douliu of Yunlin county, Taiwan. Along with the consistent noise of the machine in the cottage, a tall, middle- age man who dressed only with a T-shirt was shuttling through in between. This man was so focusing on the machine and frequently checked his notes; the atmosphere here was tight and quiet. Meanwhile, the people who surrounded him were all sweating up and also concentrated on their own job. A Few hours passed, this tall man finally relieved a deep breath and said “Done, it should be fine now, thank you all for the efforts”. Everyone finally revealed a relaxed smile.

The same test scene was staged every few days, and the engineers are the team of the PINGAO Company. After countless trials and errors, also under great pressure and ceaseless self-request, technologies and Arts were gradually integrated; the packaging machine of PINGAO was finally made his own name. 

At this time, well-known plastic company ”Formosa Plastic Enterprises” visited, they hope PINGAO can help them develop hot melt packaging machines. However, the engineers do not understand the function and structure of the machines at that time, only regrettably refused. It was such a shame and pain for them. Since then, the engineers were working so hard to find out everything regarding the hot melt adhesive packaging machines. Without any resources and supports, the engineers have done all the research by their own. By decades of hard working and occasional cooperate with the National Starch & Chemical LTD(Predecessor of HENKEL in Taiwan), their research were further advanced by combining with the theories and the realities, and soon have successfully introduced the brand new model of MM-07 single- layer hot melt adhesive packaging machine to the world.  

Nowadays, MM-07G single-layer hot melt adhesive packaging machine has been sold more than 80% of the customers worldwide, although it is not the machines for daily use, but applied to a wide range of adhesive, as long as a thin layer of plastic, the effective isolation rate is up to 99.99%, especially working for medical usages such as epidemic prevention. 

Mr. Teng Liang Wu, the president of PINGAO, recalled the history of this machine being able to be obtained the designated purchase from international manufactures and said “One of the biggest detergent manufacturer of German HENKEL learned about our hot-melt adhesive packaging machine and soon expressed great interest. Their staffs shortly made a special trip to Taiwan; as soon as the aircraft landed they went to Yunlin to see the machine and hurried back to Germany the same day. In no time, HENKEL placed an order, and the machine of MM-07G was well known since then.

We really spent a long time developing this machine; the experience has been accumulating over the decades. Of course, we also conduct other research and development of other machines at the same time, such as high-speed wet and dry powder packaging machines, multiple rapid packaging machines and box packaging machine for butter or jam, or even newly developed coffee capsule packaging machines, masks packaging machines, etc. 

“In spite we are just a small screw in the entire packaging machine industry, but nearly half of our lives are devoted to it.”Mr. Wu said.  He sigh a deep sigh while his eyes were shinning with the pride and vicissitudes. The engineers of PINGAO have never imaging that the hard working in the tin-roof cottage 40 years ago and the faith of persistence after a long period of time could tremendously contribute to the huge packaging machine industry today.
